The Electrical System and Cabling Designer in Wichita, KS will design new products, make improvements to existing products as well as maintain existing products for use in off-highway mobile equipment such as skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.


Responsibilities

• Connect with the other product development personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion within timing and budget for new and existing products.
• Schedule and facilitate design reviews with other functions within and outside of CNHi.
• May conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
• May confer with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
• May direct field testing of products and systems performed by field staff.
• Support customer service, training, and technical writers in electrical system and component operation, service, maintenance, and fixing.
• Other related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $X81,000 annually
(Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in an engineering or technical field. Technical certification may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• CAD cabling proficiency - schematic, 3D layout, 2D drawing. Preferably ProE Creo and/or Siemens Capital.
