Director, Business Systems

Stitch Fix is looking for a Director, Business Systems to join our dynamic IT team and one of the fastest-growing eCommerce companies. This role will lead and direct a team responsible for the company's Business Systems across MARKETING, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND HR. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader who possesses a complementary balance of business and technology in a cloud based environment with an emphasis on business value, quality of service, system integrity and stability. Experience in ecommerce/retail is strongly desired. You will be a true partner to the organization always approaching work with a lens of adding value to the company.

Manage SaaS / Cloud based applications, platforms and integration teams that support business partners in DATA SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, MARKETING, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, PEOPLE & CULTURE AND IT.
Have hands-on experience working with MARKETING SYSTEMS (E.G. CLOUDINARY, IMPIRA, BLUESHIFT), CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SYSTEMS (E.G. ZENDESK, PATHLIGHT, STRATIFYD), HR SYSTEMS (E.G. WORKDAY, GREENHOUSE, CONTINU ETC.) AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PLATFORMS (E.G. SNOWFLAKE)
Lead and develop a high performing functional and technical team.
Partner closely and anticipate the technology needs of key business partners and stakeholders.
Effectively identify and communicate technology solutions to business partners offering a range of options and recommendations where applicable.
Lead the planning and roadmapping process for business applications including; working with stakeholders and software service vendors to ensure the appropriate approach, due diligence, selection criteria, maximizing life, utility and maintenance of systems.
Create and communicate technology roadmaps for future applications and enhancements.
Provide a continuous flow of communication to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Build sustainable strategic relationships with technology partners and vendors.
Manages the IT Applications and Reporting team resources and activities to meet the objectives and clearly measurable performance standards set forth in the service level agreements between IT and the business units.
Evaluates application support model in pursuit of process improvements, productivity improvements and growth opportunities for staff members.
Builds processes, projects and procedures to create efficiencies and cut costs within the department as well as across Stitch Fix.
Developing and managing within an operating and capital budget.

You have hands-on / implementation experience in MARKETING SYSTEMS (E.G. CLOUDINARY, IMPIRA, BLUESHIFT), CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SYSTEMS (E.G. ZENDESK, PATHLIGHT, STRATIFYD), HR SYSTEMS (E.G. WORKDAY, GREENHOUSE, CONTINU ETC.) AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PLATFORMS (E.G. SNOWFLAKE)
You have implemented enterprise systems that span build and buy environments. YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATED HOMEGROWN SYSTEMS WITH ENTERPRISE LEVEL CLOUD APPLICATIONS.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Information Systems, Analysis, Business or relevant experience.
10+ years implementing, managing and delivering projects in a software application technology environment.
7+ years building and leading business applications and data analytics technical team who tackle complex problems and perform broad technology implementations.
You are an excellent communicator who makes it a priority to ensure business partners and stakeholders are well informed and aligned on IT initiatives.
You possess a deep understanding of business operations and business systems in the context of operational business processes.
You have an ability to negotiate contracts with controls and service level agreements that are most beneficial to our business.
You are a highly analytical thinker and possess creative problem solving skills.
You possess a working knowledge of technology security and best practices.
You are a rapid learner who stays current on the most relevant technology trends.
You are a prudent business operator with an ability to plan and manage multiple budgets as well as set, communicate and achieve business goals.
