Dealer Warranty and Training Specialist

The Dealer Warranty and Training Specialist will be the warranty administration expert for warranty policy and procedures and will create and deliver training courses to dealer personnel, field personnel and internal company personnel. They will work to deliver training curriculum using in-person classrooms, virtual events, webinars, online-modules, training videos and customized trainings for North American dealers.


Responsibilities
This position will be the highest level of technical support to dealer warranties, analyzing high-value/complex claims, providing feedback to Level-2 assessors and engaging with product quality and field personnel to ensure correct assessment of claims, including administration for high value warranty claims with review and assessment from a technical and policy perspective.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with internal groups to identify training needs
• Develop and design training materials
• Deliver trainings to achieve warranty objectives
• Create and maintain relationships through communication with the dealer network
• Answer dealer inquiries on warranty topics
• Analyze high-value/complex claims
• Engage with product quality and field personnel on warranty policy and claims

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Agricultural Sciences foiled and 1+ years of experience in any comination of the following areas: warranty, procurement, supplier recovery and/or supplier engineering/quality

OR

Associates in a related field and 3+ years of experience in any of the following: warranty, procurement, supplier recovery and/or supplier engineering/quality

2+ years of demonstrated experience in data analysis using excel, project management, and negotiation

OR

High school diploma and 5+ years of experience in any of the following: warranty, procurement, supplier recovery and/or supplier engineering/quality, field service, product training

The preferred candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of related experience in warranty, technical analysis, procurement, supplier recovery, supplier quality preferred
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience dealer or product training
• Analytical abilities allowing for in-depth problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
• Good verbal and presentation skills
