About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
Lead the operations function of the staff compensation team at Northeastern University including: development, implementation, administration of the compensation architecture and job evaluation process. Work directly with senior management, hiring managers, HR Business Partners and employees to identify and resolve compensation related issues. Manage and oversee reward and recognition programs. Conduct job analysis and perform analytical studies, such as internal and external equity, market analyses, and partner with compensation programs on salary survey submissions. Partner with compensation vendors to implement agreed to and recommended updates to compensation architecture. Oversee assigned staff and delegate duties to ensure solid customer service. Communicate a variety of complex compensation programs and projects that significantly impact University objectives. Oversee the implementation and ongoing administration of Workday job catalogue and compensation modules including support to faculty compensation team.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and 6-8 years in a progressively responsible human resources/compensation position required. People management experience preferred but not required. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Access database development and queries desired; experience with Workday or in Higher Education required. Must be a team player with strong customer service orientation. WorldatWork (ACA) certification a plus.
