Kinder Morgan, one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America, is looking for an Application Development Analyst.
Position Description:
This application development position resides within the CO2 application team. The successful candidate will be working for one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. The CO2 application team develops and supports many custom solutions for the company's CO2, oil and gas operating assets.
On the CO2 application team, the candidate will develop, configure, coordinate, implement, and support all systems, interfaces and peripheral applications used for the daily volumetric data collection and analysis of production, as well as all regulatory requirements. Specific tasks include analyzing and designing interfaces from upstream data collection to downstream consumer applications, new functionality for in-house applications, supporting users and solving any issues. Participating in project meetings, providing input to project plans, and providing status updates. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining and monitoring user issues and rectifying them in a timely manner.
The position also includes the development of ASP.Net applications. Development responsibilities include the analysis, design, coding, documentation, deployment, and support of custom applications in Visual Basic, C#, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX and Web Services. Miscellaneous duties include report writing, SSRS, SQL, T-SQL, software upgrades, data manipulation, extraction, and performance tuning.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline
