Responsibilities
Prototype Shop Resident Engineer at CNH Industrial are a key part of multinational teams responsible for the sustainable design, development, validation and delivery of world-class agricultural and construction equipment whose noble work feed and shelter the world's ever-growing population.

What to Expect

• Develop concepts, layouts, models, and drawings for solutions to current product or Prototype issues. Utilize appropriate engineering techniques w/ consideration of manufacturing processes and technology. Support prototype parts making and complete builds
• Evaluate worker productivity and recommend improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
• Develop metrics to measure productivity, capacity output, and identify process flow bottlenecks.
• Plan training programs for personnel concerning all phases of Prototype environment.
• Provide floor support, Lead Kaizens, and support continuous improvement projects
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by management team.

• This position pays $76,000 to $114,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications
Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline plus 2 years of experience working in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.
  
• Associate Degree plus 5 years experience working in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead small project teams in continuous improvement (up to 10 people).
• Working knowledge of TeamCenter Vis-Mockup, Creo
• Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across various groups and levels of management
• Ability to Travel both domestic and international as required to achieve objectives.
