Responsibilities:
This individual provides administrative and organizational support in a student-centered, team-oriented operation within the Department of Housing and Residential Life. This person reports to the Senior Director of Residential Life. They provide support for The Senior Director of Residential Life, two Associate Directors and five Assistant Directors in the administration and management of staff and students in the residence halls housing 11,000 students and staffed by 23 Residence Directors, one Facilities Operations Manager, 6 Graduate Assistants and 242 Resident Assistants. This individual must be comfortable dealing with a diverse client population that includes undergraduate and graduate students, their family members and advocates, as well as university administrators, the general public and capable of handling sensitive and confidential personnel/project -related information.

Qualifications:
| Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

| Previous office experience required, including significant working knowledge and experience with computers.

| Proficiency required in working with software programs including: Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, 365), Adobe Acrobat, etc.

| Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously, and meet daily deadlines.

| Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

| Must demonstrate ability to exercise judgment, independent thinking, and problem-solving skills.

| Ability to maintain accurate records to ensure analysis and reports are correct. Working knowledge of budget, accounting and fiscal policies and procedures required. Must demonstrate ability to discuss sensitive issues with a diverse population of members from the university community, including students, parents, faculty, and staff.

| The position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality.
