Hydraulic Integration Engineer

Hydraulic Integration Engineer is responsible for supports the Chief Engineer / Project Leader in defining Wheel Loader concept and technical solutions and ensures the correct interfaces of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components & systems. Design hydraulic fluid conveyance and integration of hydraulic components following the Product Development and the Current Product process phases. Support other departments, suppliers and assembly line.

  • Design and development of hydraulic fluid conveyance and vehicle integration of vehicle hydraulic components and systems, including electro-hydraulic systems.
  • Incorporates engineering standards / methodologies and CNH Industrial global product development processes into daily work tasks.
  • Creates robust component or system designs to meet vehicle requirements using computer aided design tools and calculations as required by project timelines and schedules.
  • Generates new design concepts for assigned projects which will improve performance, value proposition to the customer or increases number of features.
  • Maximizes standardization and continuous improvements across components and systems
  • Provides technical expertise and liaison to other functions within CNH Industrial to resolve issues and to explore and champion design / system alternatives.
  • Advanced CAD 3D user (TeamCenter, VisMockup and Creo preferred).
  • Communicates with cross functional groups within platform, product engineering and/or product validation.
  • Act as a primary liaison for offshore design work or Contract support to be able to support multiple projects and programs.
  • Assessing and mitigating design risks by scheduling and organizing design reviews and DFMEA's.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $127,000 annually
(Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Agriculture or other engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydraulic fluid conveyance and integration design.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic system, Line Sizing and components is desired
  • Advanced CAD 3D user (TeamCenter, VisMockup and Creo preferred).
  • Technical skills: demonstrated understanding of hydraulic component and system design, including electro-hydraulic systems.
  • Use and knowledge of procedures for the area: DFMEA, Virtual Validation, Engineering Standards and Process Audit.
  • Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; team player; experiences.
